About Me
I have over 20 years experience working in health and community services; six years of which includes working within Primary Care Mental Health Talking therapies services / Employee Assistance Programme as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. This has involved working with patients struggling with low mood, anxiety, panic, stress, sleep issues, phobias, OCD and low self-esteem.
In addition to my Clinical Hypnotherapy practice, I currently work part-time as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within a Chronic Pain Service; this involves delivering brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Pain Management interventions to patients struggling with chronic pain and mental health issues.
I have four years previous experience employed as a Lifestyle Coach/Health Trainer delivering health behaviour-change and healthy-living programmes to clients struggling with a wide range of physical/long-term health conditions, weight loss issues and who want to stop smoking.
This experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of how physical and mental health conditions can have a negative impact on your everyday life and I am committed to helping you make positive, long-term changes to improve your health and well-being.
